Desk pinger is a Chrome extension for dumbtimer.vercel.app. Install it from the Chrome Web Store. The website stays the app. The extension only fires reminders after you close the tab.
When you open Desk in Chrome, the extension copies your username, profile picture, ping count, and alarm list from that page’s local storage onto your computer (Chrome’s extension storage). That copy never leaves your browser. The extension does not send it to our servers, does not sell it, and does not use it for ads.
It can read the Desk website so it can sync those reminders, show Chrome notifications, and open Desk when you click the icon or a toast. It does not run on other websites.
You log in on the website, not in the extension. The extension never sees your password.
